Marine Reviews was born somewhere off the coast of Indonesia, where five sailors—Craig, Janet, Sophia, Josh, and Kat—crossed wakes and quickly bonded over a shared passion for the sea, good company, and the occasional cold beer.

 

After a few days afloat and many conversations, we realized a common frustration: finding reliable marine products, spare parts, and trustworthy suppliers at fair prices was tougher than navigating a reef at low tide. Whether it was gear from the U.S., Europe, or China, quality and consistency were all over the chart—and solid information was scarce.

 

So, we decided to do something about it.

 

Marine Reviews is our way of giving back to the sailing and cruising community. We review products, share our firsthand experiences, and provide honest, practical insights to help fellow sailors make informed decisions. From rigging gear to navigation tools and everything in between, we cut through the noise so you can spend more time sailing and less time second-guessing your choices.
